This demo is part of A Example Pipeline for Unattended Pipelines, Data Transfer, and Computation Using Globus. This shows the Flow Run from the perspective of the job scheduler.

This demo should be watched in the context of the full Run the Flow demo. If watching both at the same time, this demo begins around timestamp 2:49 in the full Run the Flow demo.

One the Flow reaches the Do_Compute state, the Globus Compute Endpoint submits a SLURM job to handle the run the Globus Compute Function. After about five seconds, the job begins running.

After 4½ minutes, the Compute Function has completed, and notification of completion is made available to Globus Compute HQ. Once the notification has been picked up, the Globus Compute Endpoint cleans up its state for the job. After that is complete, the SLURM job exits.
